They found the Hundson family muderer!!!

They finally arrested the man who was connected in the murder of Jennifer Hudson's mother and her brother. 10/24/08 Jennifer Hudson's mother and brother were found in her mother's house shot to death. A few days later Jennifer's nephew was found in an SUV parked not so far. The police have been questioning many people for this murder, but it all narrowed down to one man... William Balfour. The police have found that this man was Jennifer's sister, Julia Hudson estranged husband and also the stepfather of Julian Hudson, Jennifer's nephew.
I think that it's good that the police found this man because if they didn't he could of killed many many more people.

Symbiosis Project

A few days ago our class had to bring in a digital picture of a symbiosis relashonship. A symbiosis relashonship is a way of life. There are three different types of symbiosis relashonships, they are called parasitism, commensalism and mutualism. Parasitism is when one organism benifits and the other organsim is harmed. Commensalism is when one organism benifits and the other organsim is not harmed. Lastly, mutualism is when both both organisms benefit. Symbiosis relashonships are a very important way of life. If anything goes wrong in any of the Symbiosis relashonships it could distroy a life cycle.

Is it a computer, a board, or both?

A week ago we had a Smart Board in our classroom. You can operate the board with a computer which the smart board it is connected to, or you can use this marker which comes in 4 colors. When you pick up the marker and write on the board the color of the marker appears on the board, it isn't a real marker it's like a virtual marker. The marker only works on the board, there is also an eraser with erases.
In my point of view I think that the Smart Board is very helpful in the classroom. When my teacher started using the Smart Board there were many more volunteers willing to answer a question on the Smart Board. Also, it is very easy to access when showing a video to the class.

Global warming threatens tropics

The tropical areas in Costa Rica have been unusually hotter then usual. You're probably thinking, "the tropics are suppose to be hot so why does it matter?" Well it is a very big deal because most of the animals can only stand tempreture up to a certain level, but now its higher then usual which is effecting many of the animals that live in the tropical areas. Species already living on the mountiantops won't have anywhere to climb. This study the scientists are doing shows that most of the species won't survive or they could decline. A sheet of paper in the science report shows that the warming has scrambled the range of mammals in Yosemite National Park. For the very first time research proves the climate changes the plants and a few ecosystems.
I believe we should try and stop global warming because it is affecting many animals in the tropical region. Without most of the species living in the tropical areas we might be affected greatly because of the food chain. The food chain might be eliminated because the species in the tropical region will be eliminated with the global warming effect. In this article, it states that "moving uphill, the researchers said, temperature declines between 9.4 degrees Fahrenheit (5.2 C) and 11.7 degrees (6.5 C) for every 3,280 feet (1,000 meters). To get a similar reduction moving north or south, species would have to travel more than 620 miles (1,000 kilometers)." Because of this the animals will not be able to survive in this condition without food or water, which they might not be able to get because of the tempreture changes.
